2019 Yueguangbai White Tea, Ancient Tree stone-pressed cake

CN¥62.00 Sale Save

The first time we tasted this tea a few years after we produced it, the intensity that hit our palate went straight to our heart, with a slightly amber color infusion, and an intense sweetness gently mixed with an under-forest taste, made of aromatic wood and flowers scent.
Each cake is stone-pressed, and it is intended to be consumed from 6-12 months after the production or to be aged for all the time you wish.

Harvested by hand in Spring 2019

These ancient tea tree leaves have been withered and dried with a natural and very delicate procedure that causes them to become half black and half white, the distinctive feature of Yueguangbai, or "white moonlight" in English. The brew is a subtle yellow color that varies in tone depending on the succession of brews. Its flavor is redolent of forest flowers and autumn fruits.

Our tea production

This tea comes from the tea forest we own in Yunnan, in Nannuo and Lunan/Pasha mountain.
We take care of each leg of the production: from the care of the under-forest until package and distribution.

Generations of masters

Our production is entirely supervised by Yan Kunli, that was born and raised on Nannuo mountain, and in 2007 won the Pu'er Shengpu producer competition for the highest Shaqing skills, among all the Hani minority in Yunnan. He is the master in his craft, and we are proud to have him with us.
