The centuries-old tea trees (gushu) of Lunan mountain have forged the leaves of this Shengpu, after a mild and balanced winter. With Spring 2026, these big and lush leaves have bloomed, carrying all the richness that the roots of ancient tea trees get from the soil of Yunnan.

For over three centuries these tea trees have been silently growing in the natural forest of Lunan mountain, cared by generation of local ethnic minorities people. Season after season, trees have built strength and shaped a personality that now pours into every cup.

The first infusion opens a memory of wild flora, where spontaneous flowers bloom scattered on a hidden mountain meadow. Harmony and brightness explode through the senses, where layers of botanical notes dance and build a deep complexity. With the aftertaste comes a powerful Qi, flowing through the body with vivid clarity.
Balanced and energetic, our Lunan Sheng Pu’er embodies both freshness and depth. Its evolving character hints at the years to come, promising even greater complexity with natural aging.

The optimal weather and environmental conditions of 2026 climate, allowed these leaves to grow with gentle sun and consistent fog. The good balance of sunny days that preceded and followed the harvest time, allowed the leaves to store less catechins and produce more aminoacids, translating in less astringency and more fragrance in the taste of the tea. Moreover, the Yunnanes traditional sun-drying of tea leaves was flawless, gifting all our Yueguangbai and Pu'er tea with a long ageing life and great maturing potential.

Our tea production

This tea comes from the tea forest we own in Yunnan, in Nannuo and Lunan/Pasha mountain.
We take care of each leg of the production: from the care of the under-forest until package and distribution.

Generations of masters

Our production is entirely supervised by Yan Kunli, that was born and raised on Nannuo mountain, and in 2007 won the Pu'er Shengpu producer competition for the highest Shaqing skills, among all the Hani minority in Yunnan. He is the master in his craft, and we are proud to have him with us.
