The Yueguangbai is always a gift in our harvest season: especially in this 2024, the driest so far, with a low and precious yield.

Our ancient trees had been in their place for at least three centuries; they kept intact their beauty season after season, shaping their unique personality that is now in our cups.

This year the brew is fresher than ever, with a pronounced clarity of flavors: the brilliant yellow liquor let a thousand components fly and compose in dry herbs and early morning flowers, with drops of dew, revealing ripe orange fruits and a hint of lemongrass.

Especially, the 2024 Yueguangbai is pure energy: its Qi and its low oxidation recalls our ancient trees pu'er, taking it to a new boundary of softness - yet keeping all the reaches and great potential of transformation through time.

It is a tea that can be drunk immediately and enjoy in any season; or it can be aged, allowing time to create treasures on its leaves.

Its leaves are from the Pasha cultivar, that give a unique power and strength to its brew, becoming a unique, intense tea from this ancient pu’er tea land.

Our tea production

This tea comes from the tea forest we own in Yunnan, in Nannuo and Lunan/Pasha mountain.
We take care of each leg of the production: from the care of the under-forest until package and distribution.

Generations of masters

Our production is entirely supervised by Yan Kunli, that was born and raised on Nannuo mountain, and in 2007 won the Pu'er Shengpu producer competition for the highest Shaqing skills, among all the Hani minority in Yunnan. He is the master in his craft, and we are proud to have him with us.
