2023 Yueguangbai White Tea from Wild Forest, stone-pressed cake
Picked under the sun of early Spring, the leaves of this white tea retain all the liveliness of the life in the forest on Nannuo mountain.
A sweet and fruity fragrance of juicy ripe apricots is released as we unwrap the tea from its paper. The colourful shades of the leaves bring us back to the wildness of the forest, where we find the flowers that enrich the fragrance of this Yueguangbai white tea.
Smooth and velvety in the texture, golden and clear in the liquor. The layered taste of this white tea reflects the particular dryness of the harvesting season 2023 and will give space to an interesting ageing of the leaves, compressed to preserve their beauty and enhance the growing of their taste over time.
The artwork on the paper that embraces and protects this wild forest Yueguangbai tea represents a moth, the wild nocturnal butterfly that lives among the trees of the forest. An elegant day butterfly resting among golden flakes decorates the paper of our 2023 Yueguangbai from ancient trees, guarding its precious leaves.

Our tea production
This tea comes from the tea forest we own in Yunnan, in Nannuo and Lunan/Pasha mountain.
We take care of each leg of the production: from the care of the under-forest until package and distribution.
Generations of masters
Our production is entirely supervised by Yan Kunli, that was born and raised on Nannuo mountain, and in 2007 won the Pu'er Shengpu producer competition for the highest Shaqing skills, among all the Hani minority in Yunnan. He is the master in his craft, and we are proud to have him with us.
